Potassium Sorbate Granular
Introduction
Potassium sorbate is produced by neutralizing potassium hydroxide with asorbic acid. It is white or off white granular or powder. Potassium sorbate is used to inhibit molds and yeasts. It is considered to be safe because of its long term safety record and non-toxic profile, the toxicity is 1/40 times than sodium benzoate.

Application
it is widely used in food , drink, vegetables in soy, tobacco, drugs, cosmetics, agricultural products etc as preservative. Also, it is used in personal care products to inhibit the development of microorganism for shelf stability but not be used in foods with yeast.
